A locally owned property management and maintenance company in Morgantown, WV, is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician / Laborer to join our team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks for local rental properties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general maintenance and trades work.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance, repairs, and improvements across rental properties.
Handle plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, and unclogging drains.
Complete drywall work including patching, finishing, and painting.
Conduct carpentry tasks such as door, trim, and cabinet repairs or installations.
Assist with HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting.
Perform electrical repairs such as replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working order.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Proven experience in one or more of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, or HVAC.
Ability to troubleshoot and complete tasks independently.
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
$15 – $22 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
Full-time, steady weekday schedule (no weekends required).
